ADS730: Organizational Assessment & Accountability

This course is designed to introduce doctoral students to organizational assessment and accountability and provide students with conceptual and practical tools to conduct organizational assessments and develop accountability measures. Students will also study the role that research and data play in accountability, assessment, and policy development.

1. Become familiar with various accountability strategies used by organizations and evaluate the positive and negative aspects of these strategies.
2. Become familiar with various contemporary issues surrounding the assessment of
   organizations and critique their impact on organizational leadership.
3. Examine methods for, and concerns with, various types of assessment and measurement.
4. Weigh the effectiveness of various organizational evaluation strategies, including the design of surveys and analysis of qualitative data
